Merry Mel i actually lost weight. And I often do when I'm travelling but that depends on the nature of the trip and your travelling style. I always travel solo so I find less opportunities to "go wild" at restaurants compared to when I'm with friends. Also I love strolling around whatever place I'm visiting so I end up often not making much time to sit and eat a proper lunch or dinner. That probably makes the difference. Plus the extra calories burned by walking/hiking/climbing. If I would have gone back to my family on my holidays (like I did some times) things would have been different for examlld Old friends inviting me to eat out somewhere. Relatives cooking lots of stuff. Less moving and so on.

Oh and I did have some good time. Thanks for that. Some places I visited were far better than others but the vacation had a good start and a good end so whatever bad experience happened in the middle will be easily forgotten. 😌
