Another trick, have some sour pickles in the house. One bite, will take that craving away immediately.

Sorry, but my self-righteous went out the window with the stroke. It's going to be tough getting back on track. I'll take the donut(s). On a feeding frenzy and was advised today that I may crave different foods. WONDERFUL!!! Just what I don't need. So far, sugar is winning.

Dear god, Facebook had an add for Giraldi chocolate squares in a 'smores.' I about through my phone out the window. Stop making me want things I can't have!

Do they serve coffee and donuts at a sugar support group? First meeting tonight, FullaBella you are in charge of bringing the donuts.

You got it... I"ll be the one saying ' I need two dozen in a pretty box and a couple off on the side for me' ... that way I can get to the meeting and look all smug and superior as I don't indulge. I'll just sit in the back with my donut breath and swim in my guilt.

The reason I like the "Maple Donut" donut shop is that they give you a bakers dozen and if you belong to AAA and that's not alcoholics anonymous, they give you a half dozen free. Thus my addiction. They're enablers.

LMAO! OMG this is so bad! Ok FullaBella, go to CR's donut shop and she will be the only one who knows your dirty little secret. CR your donut shop is an enabler! They know all the good drug dealer secrets. You know the funny thing is donuts make me sick. If I eat 2 it upsets my stomach, I still LOVE donuts, but chocolate is my drug of choice.

Now if they blueberry or cream filled I'll cheat. Regular donuts, no desire.

I can't believe this all started from a 6 word post. I guess I've learned something. If I want responses, I can't be wordy. You guys have no idea how happy I am that Tim Horton's never came to my town. I'd have changed by 70 pounds, but it wouldn't have been down. It's like a freaking candy store.

I was so proud of myself yesterday. I was offered donuts at bible study but turned them down. They understood. They are so supportive of my weight loss. And the last time I ate a donut it nearly put me in orbit.

Classic.....now I am thinking I could cruise by the local AA meeting hall and "score" free donuts.....cause you reminded me there's always free donuts and coffee at AA meetings. I am a very sick individual. I need help. lol

Oh, it gets even better if you hang out in the Surgery waiting room at Baylor in Dallas. They put out a continental breakfast.. yogurt, donuts, muffins, fruit, etc. Did I say donuts. Yep, donuts. All you have to do is know who's having surgery or grab and run w/the goods before the volunteer room monitor interrogates you. I know this of course thanks to Cutty's frequent flier miles there but realized I must have looked particularly bad, tired, and HOMELESS or the volunteer was an ex-Maitre D because he had a list and checked it twice, making me repeat the name. So AA or AAA it is... I'll go to Kathy's donut shop and no one will ever be the wiser... I'll just have this huge trail of sugar on my blouse...and face.. and hands.

You would think a hospital would have more nutritious goodies. Maybe they are trying to drum up business😉

I used to think that too wholefood. That's when I read about how many doctors are smokers. All you have to do is look at them to see how they do in their own diets too. Sorry. I got off topic. The topic is donuts.

Well, the yogurt was fat free... and there was fruit; even blueberries in the muffins. And yes, doh-nuts! But NM I know how you feel about that; I sometimes feel like healthcare workers would be in better health where they are probably very challenged to stay healthy due the long stressful hours, meals gulped on the go, etc. Cutty's vascular surgeon was healthy but I saw another doctor in the cafeteria eating fried chicken, french fries and lays potato chips .. and it salted even the chips. You can lead a horse thinking.

Bella. You've missed something. They're not in health care. They're in disease management. Our health is largely up to us. Doctors usually only see sick people. They rarely advise or see the well. If they do, it's usually to say, like mine did once "I'm not going to make much money off of you." Seriously, doc?
