Yes I love your dress too! I would love to see that same picture with a big smile on your face though. When I’m down I force a smile then I really smile at myself for being silly! I say to myself I have to rely on me (nobody else) for my happiness. Sometimes it works!!

Trytrytry, I do similar. I call it faking it til I make it. Sometimes I walk the dog with a big stupid grin on my face. Makes me feel better!

I know how you feel, but, last lock down I lost 2 stone, I was 12.5 stone and 5ft 6. I went down to 10.5 stone just by deciding 'this is my life at the moment'. Thing is its horrible getting older and easily gaining weight, if you are anything like me you just enjoy food, especially in winter. This app makes it real, but you must enter everything including lattes etc. Don't lie to yourself and you will manage this, but... Don't expect yourself to be self disciplined right away, just keep trying, that's my advice. I found an online yoga class called shopgymra.com to be my other aid. There's a woman called Chelsea Gilson who teaches the best yoga on that website. She's so encouraging and positive. Over Christmas I put a stone back on, because my birthday is also over Christmas, but that's OK, I'm back calorie counting again today. It'll go again. Now I'm going to lose 2 stone again and be even healthier. It's really hard initially, but apparently it takes 12 weeks to get used to a new regime, so just stay determined. The other thing I recommend doing is buying diet ready meals from the supermarket, that way you can cook for everyone else and not have to calorie count your portions. Good luck, you can succeed, just gotta not give up 🍀😉 Sophie
