Anne trust me I know my scales are wrong before lockdown I used to use the scales in Boots and they give a much higher reading. I thank you for your compliments, the big test will be New Year Eve.

I have a nice bottle of The Widow Clicquot lined up for Hogmanay then dry Jan commences. I did sober October and most of November so enjoyed December but looking forward to dry Jan now.

Anne the reason I stopped was because when pubs where shut I found myself buying bottles from the supermarket not good and not very social able! I once did 154 days without alcohol when I reached 50 because when I reached that milestone I decided I wanted to carry on living. Enjoy dry January it'll check in on you!
