Thanks, i was at the dentist that day so enjoying the food sent to me from family lol mm 

In London we are allowed family visits again 👍🏻

Hi lovely lady. Oh I have been around - oops that sounds bad in so many ways. Just not been very active on here as work has been dominating life. We are no wback to four day weeks and patients have woken up to the fact they can come in to us again - fed up with 'oh when did you reopen?' - we have been open all through as we are key workers providing medical treatment - ARRGGHHH!!! lol Not been so good in the last week or so as my 93 yr old Dad had a fall at the Maximum Security Twilight Home where he is resident. He has dementia and fractured his hip so had to have a partial replacement. The dementia has got worse and he has been totally uncooperative with the nursing staff at hospital... He wont speak to me anyway so no use me going in to try to help. *sigh* Families!! Heard the same thing is happening with my Uncle who is 94 - oh God does it run in families????? *grin* Been having a lazy weekend of walking the dog - several two hour yomps across the fields as the farmers have mown most for silage and it is easy to walk through now - and cooking (apart from pub visit on Friday night). 

We still have our 82 yr old friend staying with us - he has been 'Sheltering' since lockdown. Its worked out better than any of us could have hoped for. He is a very nice gentle man and is no trouble and doesnt want or cause and fuss. Looks after the dog on our busy days at work and has built himself a lovely routine. We will miss him when he eventually goes home. Had he not been with us he may not have had anyone to speak to for 3 or 4 months. He has a great appetite so I can say 'oh Patrick there is one sausage left, would you like it?' and I know I wont give in to temptation and eat it myself!!!  

Oh wow Chris sorry to hear all that and lol aww, I’m glad I can see the dentist again! Needed urgent treatment.

Oh dont go there - hubby had an appointment for removal of impacted molar and that was cancelled at the beginning of April - still no sign of when he can get another appointment. I was supposed to have hospital appt on 10th Aug and they cancelled it. I sent an email on Friday asking about repeat meds which I get form them and got one back saying 'please attend 1400 hrs on 10th'.... I cant cos after it was cancelled I made work commitments and I have no one to cover for me. Oh great!! I will survive as I have 28 days tablets left but they are in chaos and not thinking straight!! 

Flower and Chris you set standards which we are here to adhere to, both wondeful individauls 

Chris I hope everything works out for you! Luckily we have really good dental practices near me locally and my dentist she’s very kind and caring :) I need a root canal done so I’m waiting too..just had deep root cleaning of gums and teeth done by the hygienist and I have gum abscess so yeah
