Thank you so much, I try my best ..... I've been condensing down the work in my garden for the last couple of years, we've done this by getting rid of the lawns and most of the ground level gardening and putting in more raised beds to save my back, its easier to keep tidier this way ...... I dare not tell Hubby of my next project, poor soul, he thinks he's finished for this year, Little does he know!!! ..... MM x

Maggie it is beautiful, and it's obvious a lot of love has gone into it...(or on your husband's part suffering🤭). It must be so relaxing to spend time in it and be able to enjoy your hard work. Me, I've never been green fingered. I killed a potted geranium once, that had been given to me as a present, within 3 weeks flat!🤣. On the plus side I'm great with all living creatures. Thank you for the photos. I'm going to be a demanding diva now and ask for bread photos next, if you please...living vicariously through you 😉😘x

Hi PP, It doesn't do for us all to be the same you know, We all shine at something or other ..... My next door neighbour has informed me that he's just found another bulk bag, so I'll be busy all day shovelling soil into it, baking day has to be postponed again, I can't believe it, I'm fated not to have that slice of heaven, it's been 17 days since I've eaten bread, so one more day won't kill me ..... My hands look so awful, not lady like at all, broken nails, hard calluses and I think I've worn my fingerprints off by shifting bricks, it's my own fault I should wear gloves ..... No Rest For The Wicked as they say, the Garden Beckons me on ..... MM x

Hi Peeps, thanks for your comments it makes it all worthwhile ..... Just got in from the garden its 7 O'clock, I must have a screw loose or something, been out there the best part of the day, I'm pushing 70 and I don't know when to stop, but you are as they say, as old as you feel, and when you stop feeling you are old!!!! ..... Yes Paul, they are fresh herbs they have been well established for over 10 years now, I cut them back at the end of the season, and they just keep producing year after year ..... I've Loved gardening all my life, if I hadn't had children so young (19yrs of age), I would have probably gone for landscape gardening or a career in that sort of field, (OOPS that sounds awful cos I love my kids to Bits), You never know I could have been another Charlie Dimmock or an Alan Titchmarsh rival ..... Never mind life goes on c'est la vie ..... MM x

Hi Gilly Fizzy, Yeah I got bored with the normal colours and went with cruprinol shades "Summer Damson" It supposed to last a good few years, Hope I don't get bored with it, because of all the surrounding gravel I was able to choose a very bold colour ..... The other side of the garden, which we are still doing, has sheds and the new raised beds, not to sure what colour to do there yet, its where the garden furniture sits and that's grey Whicker, so when we can get to Homebase, I will make my mind up then, but in the meantime I'm still finishing off the damson, I don't mind painting in the garden it's easy peasy not like painting with gloss paint in the house you can really splash it on anyway and anyhow it's very forgiving and very satisfying with great results, anything for an easy life!!! ..... MM x
