You know one of the best things that I don’t consider as working out is walking! You can go out for a fair old while and will walk further than you would normally run with similar benefits to weight loss. I’d say cycling also is excellent in the current world status and weather here. Since we are allowed out for exercise a walk is amazing. Also the number of people who now say hello or good morning that normally wouldn’t bother is good. Even if it’s from over 2 mtrs away.

I Just walk the dog, I average about 13000 steps a day, when iI started I needed to lose 6kgs and was given a target of 2000 calories/ day but averaged about 2200, and lost 8kgs in a 11 weeks. You have to walk every day come snow, wind or rain, and put some effort in walking up hills. not for the faint hearted. Take care and happy Friday

Peter how is Boris? I wish I had a dog to walk, I only have a cat and you can't take that out for a walk!

Hi, you don’t have to go to the gym to loose weight and at the moment it’s not even an option for us that do go regularly so we are all doing home workouts, a workout can be anything but it all comes down to the same thing which is burning off calories that’s the only way to lose weight so the more you do the more you burn, doing heavy housework, cleaning the car on your the driveway even gardening will all burn extra calories as long as your active and control your calorie intake you will loose weight and you’ll find you feel better. Good luck 👍

Chestnut Boris is fine waiting for his mornings walk, my son as a cat he always wanted a dog, but when I worked didn't have the time to look after a dog, they give you a lot of love but they are hard work at times.

Peter that was my problem didn't have the time to look after a dog properly, but I think it would be unfair to my cat to introduce a dog Into the household at the moment, she has got used to being the centre of attention! Give Boris a nice long walk.

If you do want to exercise break up each body part each day don’t do the same routine so say one day do your legs, abs and lower back, then on another day arms shoulders and chest upper back. A great leg exercise is put one leg on the settee or chair bent at the back of you keeping your body straight then lower down and up again on your other leg fast many times and keep the tension on and you start to get more use to it hold heavier items in your hands, hope this helps.

I have been walking up and down the stairs 10 times, yesterday I managed 22 times my heartbeat hit 120's which I think is good and my legs felt like they worked out to...I also play Dance Central on Xbox kinect. I enjoy thatand you don't realise you are working out....I have only just started and I haven't been watching the calories but my weight hasn't gone up. next week I am going to watch the calories and do the but of exercise and see what happens 🐰

Funnyonion how many stairs do you have? I walk around my garden once every hour for ten to Fifteen minutes, I am lucky to have a garden and we have a large green about a mile from my house. Dancing and me don't go together total lack of coordination!
