Don't give up on being a mum or being a healthy weight you have come such a long way and you are nearly there. your mental health is just a important and I wish I could say something that would help, I feel your pain and will keep my fingers crossed that you get your appointment in April, hopefully Frankie it will all work out .

Oh darling my heart goes out to you😢keep strong they might give lee way so don’t give up hope. I never had the chance to get help as I was to old by the time I found out there were problems.. life can still be great without children. We fostered for 10 yrs I know it’s not for everyone but I had loads of fun

sending hugs to you. life can sometimes feel so unfair, I'm sure it's NOT too late for you . It's easy to say I know but the constant stress and worry doesn't help Please don't give up . I had my youngest son age 39 only when I gave up stress of full time working for a while.

My friend lost 10% of her body weight in a month and got pregnant. Being at a healthy weight increases fertility. (Disclaimer: I didn’t read anything besides this post and know nothing else about you)

Please don't give up. My now late wife miscarried serveral times following fertility treatment and was told to the have hysterectomy so couldn't have baby. We adopted 2 beautiful babies. My kids are 19 and 22 now and they are the best thing ever to me. Keep strong lass x

Just reading this has put a big lump in my throat my heart goes out to you but don’t give up hope because Deep down you know you’ve put too much in to just give up and throw in the towel, at the moment your going to feel mad and bitter and upset all into one but in time it’ll just make you stronger for when you are a parent you will get there it’s just another one of life’s problems you will get past and overcome so don’t give up on what you deserve X

This made me sad. One thing to keep in mind, the person that you would be going to see for your appointment will not be dealing with Corona (unless they are infected) as would not be the same department. Your appointment could well go ahead. Never NEVER give up. Have your blow out this weekend then move on to positivity x

Thanks everyone, but non essential out patients appointments are being postponed and, because this is my first meeting with the specialist, that's what my appointment is. And, at nearly 34, with the NHS cutting fertility treatment at 35, a waiting list of over 6 months for IVF, and many months of hoops to jump through before you get on the waiting list, another delay means I literally don't have any time left. It's so selfish and petty in the face of the things other people are going through with this virus, but I can't help but think that all the other issues will eventually be sorted, leaving me childless for the rest of my life. I've done everything right, and I have nothing at all to show for it.

☹️ and is there no chance of this happening without IVF? You may not have a child at the moment but you have a loving partner and you don’t have a 100lbs of fat anymore. If things don’t work out like Dave said adopting is a very rewarding option where you literally change a life for the better.

I have sever PCOS. Multiple 21st day tests have shown in not ovulating (in fact my symptoms have gotten steadily worse with my deceased weight, go figure) IVF is it. And even that would be a hail mary. But at least with that as a possibility I still had some hope
