cant seem to get carb levels right. i feel bloated when i have them but horrible headaches if i cut them out. need to find a middle ground

I'm the same with the fibre and bean thing. I know now that even if I make a big batch of something not to have it 2 days in a row lol. have you tried quinoa? tesco do a nice one that's mixed with bulgar. its bland but very nice with any meal and it's not got the bloating effect like bread or pasta.

Oh no havent tried that I will tho. Bread is my down fall I cut down but now seems to bloat me. I love rice think maybe having to much of the same carbs need to mix it up a little

Couscous, rice, quinoa, and pasta or jacket potato are all great . Couscous is great because you only pour a tiny bit of boiling water on it and leave to sit for 5 minutes. Good if you are having chilli or curry or something you have in the fridge already. Literally a 5 minute meal 😊

Its cloudy here by liverpool but not cold. I'm off out for carvery with my mum avoiding potatoes but having yorkshire and out for treat tea with kids to kfc thinking zinger salad and corn and a work out later haha hope you have a lovely day

how many carbs do you have when you feel bloated?

what type of carbs? fruit, bread, pasta, potato, sugar/sweets. be more specific could be an intolerance

Alot of fruits set of my ibs. Porridge makes me bloated and too much white bread say if I have 2 pieces toast breakfast and sandwich lunch bloated. I cut down on bread but as soon as i have over a slice I'm bloated

Try making your total calories out of 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fat. Working for me so far

Thanks rob will try that I need something to work I like low carb but the headaches are hard they get easier but like a balance over all. Hows your working out going? I've started back properly I ache all over but feel great for it

Gym’s going well thanks. Training heavy for 3 days then a day cardio and repeat. 1st week back is always the worst for aching. Stick with it.
