I joined up to fat secret last year after becoming a vegetarian and cutting out processed foods - I lost a lot of weight within a few months and had worried friends and family although I was feeling amazing and my weight was within the healthy BMI bracket - my doctor was happy, I was happy, but my friends, families and even strangers would comment on how “skinny” I was - now I realise how a “skinny” comment can be just as damaging as an overweight one. Let’s focus on our health and how we feel rather than how we look :)
