Dream on. Moom gave me about four pairs of her gorgeous designer jeans and I have just got into the first pair of them and can hardly bear to take them off I'm so pleased. Next stop is a skirt I bought last year and then put on weight so have never worn - that's the hope for 10th December - but it is the dreaming of my beautiful wardrobe I've had to ignore for a few years that is keeping me going - "We are such stuff as dreams are made on" :)

Thanks - I brought out the suitcase under the bed a few nights ago - it was full of clothes that a while back were definitely not fitting me yet and not almost fitting me either - it was so rewarding to find a few of them were now a perfect fit, including a couple of items which had some special significance and belonged to the me I used to be in more carefree times before a lot of problems began. I maybe can't be that person again, but at least I can wear her clothes and be if different, at least someone I vaguely recognise.

Such a great feeling, a boost to your confidence in what you are doing. So pleased for you.

Clothes (and how they fit) can have such an effect on our emotional health. I've talked about it before but one of the spurs for me to lose weight was giving in and buying some bigger new bras in the correct size rather than wearing old ones that dug in. I made sure they weren't too loose but gave me a flattering line and cleavage. They're now a lot looser and about to get chucked as they're too big around the back but they gave me the confidence to know there was something better around the corner. I also bought some fairly cheap long line shirts to go with the bras - hid my tum a treat so I felt more confident. THAT'S when I realised I could lose weight and since then, I've added a few tight clothes back to my wardrobe as they're not tight any more. Take care, ARB!

Absolutely agree, I don't think I ever had a bra fit correctly until I stumbled across a shop called Bravissimo... It made such a difference.

Bravissimo is the store for me. Definitely my go to website. I know of the physical stores but never actually gone for a fitting as their instructions worked so well for me. Panache is the brand that suits me best

I was always a Freya girl until I had a reduction after constant trapped nerves in my neck and a back problem. Now, although not tiny - I didn't go too far - I have found my perfect bra in Matalan! £7 and I buy three at a time - who knew?! We are big breasted girls in my family and it is a struggle with all of us to find something supportive, pretty and at a good price, the latter being the most difficult. Makes all the difference though. I was like Phooka and didn't indulge in good undies until I started losing weight, although really it should be the start.
