thomas rutherford's Journal, 26 Aug 17

Hi guys, l have just been reading all your entries in your journals and I am well pleased with your progress. For those not quite hitting your targets please don't be disheartened it's a long journey we are on. The last week has been quite hectic between having a last minute trip to Manchester for to surprise my sister on her birthday and still keeping myself on track with my weight loss and exercise. The food side was placed in the capable hands of my sister and we ate well and healthily most of the time. The exercise part was much more easier as my sister walks a lot and the area that she lives in is not far from the Peak District. When the weather permitted we got out and had a few great treks. I'm happier on my bike now a days much easier on my poor old knees lol. Got back yesterday so today is my first chance to update my journal, as l mentioned in my last update l am now weighing myself every two weeks as opposed to weekly, l don't want to be a slave to my scales and for me it makes more sense. Besides a week is such a short time and as we know the body can fluctuate either side of the line and our emotions seem to follow the same direction lol I am not going to put myself through that roller coaster ride is counterproductive. As I said earlier it's awesome to see how you guys are doing, l have noticed a mark improvement on good solid advice given to those that are finding it hard to get the results that they deserve and desire, for those people please don't get disheartened and upset with themselves, have a rethink about what you are doing and do a little planning for the next week and get stuck in again. Also let us know how you are feeling and doing so that we can give you encouragement and advice to make it easier and less stressful. I believe we can all relate to that. Ok guys that's the F1 now getting to the exciting part and being a life long fan l am spending more time watching TV than texting lol so I will go. I hope you are all well and in good health/spirits, take care of yourselves and most importantly be kind to yourselves. Bye for now
