thomas rutherford's Journal, 02 Aug 17

It's 3 o'clock in the afternoon and l am having a rest from exercise, well other then going shopping that's all I will do today. You have to recharge the batteries from time to time if you are working out a lot. It's part of the repair process. I don't eat as much on my down days because I don't need as much fuel. I made overnight oats for my breakfast and just finished my lunch. Both healthy options lol it's a little strange being able to just lounge around and catch up with other things that fill my life, l have caught up with all the world news and boy are we in trouble lol l am glad l've kind of had my time and not a teenager, it's going to be tough for them (frown/sad face) l them picked up my guitar and had a practice session lol l'm still a newbie so don't expect any record deals for a long long time, l am now listening to some music mmm l have been in love with music all my life, over the years I have seen lots of the greats live and have a huge collection of CD's spanning from the 60's right up to the present day. This covers all genres . I am going to see Lady Antebellium in October in Manchester with my lovely sister, that will include a week stay where she will spoil my rotten lol there is also a musical production of That Will Be The Day at a small theatre which we are going to as well. I am beginning to get to grips with my diet or as l like to call it lifestyle choice as each day passes, l don't think I am starving myself, in fact it seems the very opposite, all l am doing is eating better food groups, NOT chocolate, cake, beer and fatty stuff. Which I must say l really really love (another frown/sad face). With today being slower it's given me the chance to reflect on my progress or lack of progress on occasion and I have come up with the conclusion that it's just the start of my journey and l can't expect huge losses week after week and as long as l don't have a large rise in weight then l am doing alright. I was told the other day that you sometimes don't see a loss on the outside but you have lost on the inside wow l know it blow me away as well, l thought what the heck are they talking about lol and as the penny dropped l understood what they meant. So guys remember that it's not a sprint. It's a lifestyle choice we have decided to venture on and that nothing good is easy come by. Boy is that so true lol well take care , love yourself and be kind to those on the site, it's hard enough without negative comments. Ok l am going to go and have a lay down in a dark room because my brain hurts with all this positive thinking lol catch up soon bye for now.
