My weight is being stubborn - It rises immediately when I have a poor day but does not fall back well after a I have good day. I am very keen to record 82.4kg or less in the next two days.

It's not only my body that needed shedding weight as my wardrobe was a little overweight -It's now quite slim.

Yesterday I went shopping for walking clothes and finished off clearing out my old stuff - Spent a bargain £42 on trousers shorts and shoes and my wardrobe is now fully replenished. Totals are:
Suits =1, Trousers =5, Shorts casual=3, Shorts sport=3, Pants=10, Socks=14, Shirts all short sleeve =5, Tee shirts=15, Shoes/Boots/Trainers/Wellies =10, Jumpers/fleeces=6, Coats/Jackets/Gillets =6, Ties =4

I have an excess of coats and jumpers but some were presents and recently hand knitted so cannot give away.
Going forward I plan to refine it down a little further.

Today I am working on the gate/fencing job. If it goes well I should all but finish it.

Enjoy your day everyone

Same here AP it's because you have lost a lot of fat, so now it will come off slowly. Try what i did for a week or two. I stopped dieting but still ate sensibly and carried on with all my activities. It gives you body time to adjust and all of a sudden i lose 2 pounds!

Takes at least a couple of days for your weight to 'normalise' back, it could be extra fibre/water too, may not be fat at all...be careful that you are not yo-yo dieting...just eat sensibly (As bowd mentions) for 5-7 days, and weigh yourself then...if you have been weighing yourself daily, stop it, it will do you no good, serves no useful purpose for most folks and sets you on an obsessive/yo-yo/deprive mentality if you are not careful, and it is best not to get into the habit of organising your weight loss by the clock and calendar as this again this tends to promote unrealistic ideals and often leads to bad/poor practices in your eating, such as eating a ridiculously low number of cals and weighing yourself everyday...it just adds to the pressure and frustration...Patience and persistence are the keys to getting it off and keeping it off and keeping as healthy as poss and for the long term management of your weight..1-2lbs a week Avg is your target unless you have some specific health issues that require you to lose more in a short period of time...Plus, you have already lost 48.9lbs, so you are on target for 3.1lb a week loss which is 1lb more than the recommended sustained Avg anyway, so you have done a great job this far, be happy and well done..
