For suhoor, normally light breakfast. e.g. Weetabix with whole milk. A pint of water at least as well. Alternative may be for example 2 slices toast, smoked salmon / turkey slices, etc. Try to stay in range of approx 400 - 600 cal.
For Iftar, normal asian fare. But main thing is to drink glass of water first and have the fruit first. That way, won't overdo it on the traditional food ( chappatis and curries ). Stay clear of samosas, pakoras, cheap juices etc. Too calorific with little nutritional value.
