Looks like the water weight is shifting. I also ate lower carbs yesterday. Back to swimming today, but i have to take Mishka to the vets for her check xrays first. Just hope her leg is healing as it should be. She is walking well on it and it has been 6 weeks since surgery. Fingers crossed

Keep me updated on the progress of Mishka. We are still waiting for Sugar's surgery. She is taking pain pills twice a day. I don't know how we are going to keep her quiet while she is recovering from her surgery. Yesterday, she shot off the back deck with no warning. She looked like a blur as she ran top speed after a rabbit by the barn, which isn't that close to the house! It looked like she was running on all four legs but I could tell she favored the bad one only a bit. No, the rabbit made it out of the fence, but she trotted back to the deck. I figured she had pain in that leg, but it's hard to tell sometimes. She isn't limping per se, but she will use 3 legs most of the time.

Thanks buddies! Mishka is doing well, her hind leg is healing, but the vet wants her to stay on lead walks for another 6 weeks. Hopefully it will be more stable by then. She only needed partial sedation which means she is much better this evening, although a little subdued. Saying that i also feel subdued. This bombing in Manchester has affected me more than i realised. I hope you hear about sugars surgery soon M2B. Do you have insurance for her. We did for Mishka, but they wouldn't pay out as it was classed as a pre existing condition cause she had been to a vet in 2015 with what we thought was arthritis, but it turned out she had the start of a cruciate ligament problem then. Who would know that 18 months later it would rupture. Still she is fully weight baring on it since having the surgery and i just hope she continues to make good progress 😊
