mitch22's Journal, 17 Nov 16

I avoided recording my weight on Monday, although it was only up by just under 2lbs. I have clawed that back with a tiny bit extra, which I will record now. Still going in the right direction, but coming up to 4stone loss is a tricky time. I am under the 14stone mark but keep going over and then under. I would like a solid loss to put me definitely within the 13stone bracket and march onto the next drop. I can only do it myself but things get in the way of being v.v. good with calories.

I have started (on Monday) riding 15 miles each way to work on an electric bike (this means that I still have to peddle, but get assistance which is v. nice). This was really to cut the cost of the train season ticket but should also be useful with the exercise and weight loss. Off out this evening so back on the train for now.

The bike is a great idea, my father was after one of those but the place is lives in is populated by idiot Chelsea tractor drivers who haven't a thought in their empty little heads so decided it wasn't safe (and he's 82 so doesn't bounce so well). He was very disappointed as he loves his gadgets! Your loss is impressive and inspiring, well done.

Thanks StrangeTrout. My journey takes me past Battersea Power Station and past Waterloo Station - so far, so good though.

How lovely, one of my favourite buildings - I lived in Battersea for many years and once bungeed 300ft off a crane on the plot. Not sure what I was thinking but it was a very effective hangover cure!

OMG, ST! Never mind a hangover cure, that would definitely be a laxative! Nice to hear you're getting on well with your new bike, Mitch

Never will you get me to bungee jump anywhere. I'd rather have the hangover (which is saying something!)
