Washing done, as is the shopping. 20 flights of stairs so far. 10:00 has come around and I just had a 1000 calorie breakfast. All set up for my dancing now.

An hour of Argentine Tango before lunch. Excellent. Only problem is the appetite it promotes!

It's a busy day here as well. Off to meet friends in town for a catch up and drink.

It looks like you've been having some real blow-outs lately. That can be okay, as long as you can then cut back and lose it again. But if you don't, you will find the weight will keep going up till you're back where you started. Sorry to be stating the obvious, but I'm worried about you!!!

I am worried too. I just cannot kick this overeating. I am starving all the time. I am on 16:8 now, so hopefully that will help.

Your a busy man probably that's why you are eating a lot. You've done well and you know your limits. We are all human and it's not easy . Keep going

The big problem is I have reached a weight where I am happy. I know I have more to go, but I feel comfortable here, my wife is happy as I am, I feel healthier than I can remember and as TrendWeight shows, I have only gone up 0.2 lbs in the last month. All that makes it difficult for me to knuckle down and lose the final stone.

Jocko you have done so well to get where you are! If you are happy as you are and so is your wife, why not try maintenance for a while. If you start going up on the scales, then time to rethink. Good luck with whatever you decide :-)

I think that Maintenance is basically what I am doing. It is so easy to slide though.

It is easy to back slide but you mustn`t let it go too far.

I am worried because I see you over the 200lbs again, and I think you were about 195 before, so whatever Trendweight says, I see that as a gain. I have been doing 'maintenance' since March, but actually the last couple of months it's been supposed to be 'weight loss', but the best I have managed is maintenance, and it's been hard. I can tell you that maintenance requires just as much diligence as weight loss for us people that tend to gain easily. So please make sure you really are maintaining, and not just backsliding!! Set yourself a limit, over which you will not go. Otherwise I fear it is the slippery slope... (Gosh I sound like a prophet of doom, don't I? 😁)

Yes, 196 is the best I have logged here, although I have seen 195 (back in June), at a daily weigh in.

It's the hardest part of a diet... maintaining your goal or preferred weight. Ugh.
