The trend is still downwards. I didn't jog at all last week. I hardly walked during work last week. Tried not to over do it with my meals. I have to keep telling myself that it is OK not to put up big numbers week to week. The trend is my friend.

Nothing wrong with the small numbers either. Small or big you are getting closer to your goal and that's what counts.

And a nice trend it is! You're sneaking up on that goal.

The heat and humidity has not been very welcoming for outdoor exercise!

I think you are doing just fine. For myself, the slower the loss, the longer I succeed.

Down is always great - no matter what! You are doing well.

Nice, Ches. Slow and steady wins the race. Well maybe not this race but you get the sentiment, right? Check in with you around noon thirty. Press on!

Thanks Engeland, Kes, Erika, Islandmoma, HCB & 52C. I did plenty soul searching last week. Looking back at my food and activity logs, my weight loss journey has been a combination of increasing activity and decreasing calories. As much as I wanted to stick to "this particular WOE or that particular WOE," I am finding my way.

You're doing well, as you said the long term trend is what's important.

Forward my friend. That is where you are going. People have begun to approach me OUTSIDE of FS now, asking if I can help them lose weight. When I tell them exactly what I do they all have the same shocked look of "OMG YOUR NOT DEAD FROM THAT?" And when I explain how it works, they get a little panicky. People are animals. They don't like giving up things. Especially things they like. Well, I guess they love that Fat rear they drag around. Because that is what they don't seem to want to let go of. And Thank the stars YOU are not one of those people. Keep doing what works. And remember, the more you lose the less calories you need. So don't be afraid to cut even more if you feel like your stalling for too long. Or try a 3 day fast to break the homeostasis. But otherwise, brother you are doing great.

Thanks Jim and Knuckles. I'm getting smoked by 52C in our race to 200 and we are eating the same thing EXCEPT, his calories are lower. Operation drop your calories has begun.

Try, fail and adjust.

Yep, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Pay close attention to what works for YOU, not others.

I appreciate your posture that you are doing fine, just differently. Take care of you...j

England stop spreading that noise. EVERY BODY IS THE SAME when it comes to how the metabolism works. This is why those of us who are actually LOSING weight get pissed. People like you go around spreading this nonsense. It isn't true. Your profile doesn't even SHOW a weight loss history. So what grounds you do have for telling people to do it their own way? And JJohnso as well. I understand you guys only mean well, but you are not helping. Stop with the personal agenda. Either do the research that MANY of us have done and actively employ or please keep your comments confined to "Good Job".

My apologies C for having made a comment, that was meant as supportive and sincere, if it was hurtful to you in any way. j

I'm one of those actually losing weight and I'm not pissed nor am I offended by Engeland or JJohnso in any way. Ches is doing great and drama like this is best saved for the dojo, don't you think? My fast days are approx 600 cals. Makes my weekly daily ave around 1500. It's math I think.

@KTMM, Engeland has been doing a phenomenal job of losing weight, getting fit(ter), and being wholeheartedly supportive of others. She pushes no plan and no agenda other than wishing/encouraging good health for others. Your remarks are uncalled for, and it is not for you to decide what others might find to be personally encouraging. JJohnso seems to be an interested, supportive individual as well.

Keep with the positive trend, Ches! Way to go. I love that you never give up.

And this is why im shutting down again. Good luck people. Going back to my quiet solitude. If you guys want anything you know where I am. Enjoy that torture. Ill sit over here and do absolutely nothing and lose weight doing it. Peace.
