This is nuts! How am I going to get in the required carbs. IT"S HUGE! (I'll sleep well tonight.)

The only way to get that many carbs in is to make sure EVERYTHING you eat and drink is loaded with sugar, coffee, tea, sodas, koolaide. Cakes, pies, icecream, couple of snickers bars, cookies and milk, or like someone mentioned earlier, go to a Waffle House or IHOP and have a huge pancake breakfast with a tall stack, tons of syrup and whipped cream and fruit toppings for breakfast, then hit the Pizza Hut lunch buffett and then the Chinese buffett for dinner, should put you right in there!

I had 150 grams of carbs with protein trying to minimize fat at dinner and I feel like I need to lie in front of the TV all night. Best of luck.

Bahahaha! I can't tell if Debra's comment is the ultimate dream or the ultimate nightmare! I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you have your carb day...oh, wait, all I have to do is hang out at the mall all day, and watch what people eat. LOL

LOL, it was not a fantasy! LOL I had to do a blood panel once a few years back first they took blood fasting, then sent me to IHOP and had me chow down on the biggest, sweetest pancake breakfast I could fit into my stomach and then come back two hours after I finished eating for another test.....so I just figured that would be a good item for getting a good carb load on :)

Bruce, I think you are going to feel very nasty after you eat all of that!! I would probably fall into a post-carb coma. I had a tiny taste of that this past weekend and I am feeling much better now that I have not eaten in 4 days. It tasted great, I had fun, but I do not like the way that many carbs makes me feel.

Well the IHOP glucose test is better than that nasty 4x sugar kool-aid drink. That was revolting. Of course it was a long time ago.

Buggirl!!! That stuff is vile. They made me drink that and then took my blood and said "Your blood sugar is too high." Of course it is. Idiots. Used my moms glucose meter after chuging 2 liters of pepsi (it was a test, honest) and it was in in the alloted time. They want everyone on the meds!

I was pregnant and got the flu and lost 12 pounds. About a month later I gained it back. Thus they thought gestational diabetes. They were idiots.
