Lorneylorna's Journal, 14 Apr 16

What a week, I just don't seem to get any time for me to relax. I managed to get to the hairdressers yeasterday, which was just fabulous, as I had to just sit for a couple of hours, but most of the rest of the day was as manic as normal, apart from 15 minutes after lunch sitting in the garden, soaking up the sun. At least I am getting my vitamin D. My car is serviced now and my mothers car is serviced and MOT'd, I was back at college this week, so Tuesday was busy, busy and I seem to be doing an extraordinary volume of shifts at the moment, just feeling tired I think and so a little down on life. I have tomorrow and Saturday off, ibut I have some running around to do and some chores that have been niggling at me, so going to get them done and hopefully my next day off will be for me ...

Do something fun for you on your day, make it count and by the way if feeling a bit just remember to look up! The brain instantly forgets what it was feeling down about :)

What Wendy said. Check the weather forecast too - don't be stuck indoors doing chores on Friday and then suffer rain on Saturday when you'd like to go for a walk or something. A wee bit of planning can go a long way to making your life better. Best of luck!

Thank you Wendy and Phooka, going to reach for the sky today, not feeling so hard done by today (thank goodness), i plan to do some stuff for me today in the way of some study, then tomorrow I will play at dodge the raindrops and go out somewhere, get some fresh air and exercise. All good for the soul ... 😌

I've just checked the forecast for Saturday and we've modified our walking plans. Instead of a brisk stroll on the Prom at a nearby resort, we're going to don wellies and raincoats and walk along the canal. It's more sheltered and we won't feel as daft in wellies by the canal. Glad you're feeling better & have a great weekend

Ooh enjoy, I love canals, just wish there was one near me. I hope to go to a place called Badbury Rings tomorrow, an ancient hill fort, weather dependent of course. I will probably be wearing wellies as my fashion statement too 😂
