Lorneylorna's Journal, 07 Feb 16

Decided to weigh in a day early this week as today is a fast day, so tomorrow's weight will be a false weight. Delighted to see that I have 1/4 lb to go! I plan to keep going as normal for this week and the next as we have visitors arriving mid Feb and I want to allow for any meals out, but in the meantime I am going to grin like the Cheshire Cat haha. Although there are busy periods with my work where you expend a lot of energy, I have to drive my client around a lot too, so I am on my backside for a lot of my shift, I am going onto nights for most of the rest of this month, so hoping that the cleaning etc will give me more movement and help to keep my weight down. I tend to do exercises to keep me awake too, so all in all I should be able to gain a margin of error on the scales over the next few weeks.

Good loss. I weigh myself the day after a fasting day. I don't feel it is a false weight. It would be if it was in isolation but as I weigh myself the same time every week and any "extra" loss is balanced out by the rest of the week.

I don't have a set fast day, I do them to suit my work pattern. So most Mondays I weigh after a couple days eating

Well done Lorna! I'm surprised FS didn't give you a blue line! As far as weighing goes, I guess either way works. I don't like to count the weight after a fast day either, as it usually pops up again afterwards. I sort of do averaging, but I'll also 'take a view' on it, because I have feast days as well as fast days, which can put weight artificially high. As long as the trend is on the right direction, it's fine.
