John10251's Journal, 28 Dec 15

Well, it's official. The Eggnog diet did not work in my favor at all. I went from out of the blue into the green and from there I did a backslide into the yellow. The yellow caused a reality check. I did pick up my activity the last few days but still I consumed more calories than usual. I feel a little soreness from working out harder than normal in an effort to get back on track. Yesterday I followed my diet 100 percent. Today I had a drop in weight that surprised me. I can't explain why the sudden drop but I'll take it.
72.6 kg Lost so far: 11.3 kg.    Still to go: 2.3 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

The soreness probably meant that your muscles went into 'repair mode' after your workout and retained some water in the healing process (so I've been told) . . . between that and the calorie variation from day-before to yesterday (I'm assuming, haven't 'studied' your food diary) probably contributed to the drop. Regardless of the reason, it's moving in the right direction again and you're back at it!! Nice recovery!

Too bad because I think I could follow the "eggnog diet". Congrats to you!
