Well, I went to work in the morning and around noon the wife packed up the truck and headed into the bush to see if she could find a moose, but she was really after the piles of wood chips we'd found last year on one cut-block. She texted at 5 that she was on her way home and that she hadn't seen a moose but had gotten 6 good buckets of woodchips. When I opened the tailgate of the truck, there was a 200 pound bratwurst, gutted and all ready for my butcher block. Mmmm, black bear sausage.

Her camera is broken. I don't know how. It's always right there on the truck floor. Sorry. I basically separated it in the back of the truck. She might be tough enough to lift it into the truck by herself in one piece, but why should I have to handle it that way. ;)

Saw another black bear about 700 yards away. Tried to walk in on him. He was gone. Saw a moose, but now matter how hard I looked, I couldn't get her to grow horns.
