First week without a weight loss. What a big disappointment. Especially since the past week has seen me walking, cycling, dancing and gardening.
And its my birthday!
119.7 kg Lost so far: 8.6 kg.    Still to go: 24.5 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

My wife gave me a birthday cake today. 5500kcals. There are only the two of us! I have however left calories for half a bottle of Champagne. 311 of them.

The reason apart form the treats may be that you are gaining muscle from the added exercise and water retention which helps the muscles form.... dont be discouraged keep it up and after a week or two you will see the drop on the scales.... good luck and happy belated birthday x

lol JockoT enjoy that cake...it is your birthday....as long as you get back on track when it's over you will be fine. When I previously lost 7 stone I found my weight would go down and then stop for sometimes a few weeks....but I found during that time my body shape seemed to change, my clothes felt loser and I felt slimmer. I don't know if it is a time you body needs to "readjust" the weightloss...but it is always good to measure your waist once a month....while the scales might not move, you will be surprised you will still be losing inches.

Came to take my daily medication and found I had neglected to take it yesterday. Among the tablets I take is one to prevent water retention so that may have been the cause. I don't measure my waist but I do wear the same belt every day and as a result I am aware of how many "notches" my waist is at any given moment.
