Well look at it this way, yesterday you ate 46 grams of saturated fat. Well that's 419kcal to burn off, plus whatever bodyfat you are trying to burn off. But you are not doing any exercise which is why you are putting on weight.

Where am I putting on weight? I'm lighter today than yesterday. I'm lighter now than before CN last week. I do indeed exercise, I potter around most days for a small time. I have back damage so I can't do a lot. Some days I can't do any. I was doing 5 x 5 too but stopped due to tennis elbow which continues to nag. I carried on doing squatting for a time, increasing the weights, but have reached a point where my stance is letting me down and I'm not getting it right. I need to find appropriate warm-up exercises I think. I'm working on it.

Squats are not great if you have back problems, a leg press machine would be ideal as this puts zero compression on the spine.
