I have been experimenting with what foods I eat first for my meal; thus, I have eaten my grapefruit before my breakfast.
I have also been taking a resistant starch/prebiotic around noon and taking my flaxseed prior to my end of the day coco.
Today is unique in that my calorie count is under 1,000 at 2 pm and I am NOT hungry.
Sharing to encourage others to try something different. If the net gain is a wash you're still ahead as you'll know what didn't work.
When we stall we get discouraged and we all know how that feels.
Never give up

It's a great idea. I eat a lot of fiber usually which helps.

Great perspective! I'm still at the "trying to find what works best" stage too.

It's good to mix things up so that you don't get stuck in a rut every once in awhile I have a tendency to stick to one food for a long period of time and that does tend to open one up for nutritional deficiencies. For me it's a matter of trying to limit food waste and keep my budget tight rather than be boring but it does tend to lend to a more boring diet I admit. My family has pointed out that at times it can be a bit dull to eat so many of the same foods even if we do mix them up with different seasonings and preparation methods. So you're right it can be a lot more fun to mix up one's types of meats and sides for variety and flair. And as I mentioned earlier it can help limit one's nutritional deficiencies by opening one up to a variety of colors and textures that one doesn't normally engage in as per ones normal food choices. In my particular situation it can be somewhat challenging at times to do that so I can't do it as often as I would prefer but you are correct that when possible it is good to add in new items and to change how one uses them when possible.
