And 3lbs up again after Friday night out. Down again I'm sure later in the day. Carb Nite, by the way, involves body recomposition so there's rather more to it than immediate weight loss. In some of the slimmer folk this is obvious from their pix. I'm embarrassed about mine and I've not taken measurements. I'm wondering more and more lately though, as I peer at my barrel-like belleh in the mirror, if it doesn't look rather more substantial and less flabby than before. Very difficult to gauge these things with someone of my size!

And within the hour... a few glugs of coffee, another pee and I'm 324lbs again. I'll have to stop weighing myself first thing, it's misleading :-)

@Billruse the way re-composition works is that you gain the same amount of muscle as you lose fat. Its a very slow process since you can only really gain about 3kg of muscle in a year and only if you are doing intense weight lifting workouts. I hate to break it to you but will not be able to "recompose" your belly-fat into muscle. Nor will it magically turn into water or something else. The best way for you to get into shape and look fit and handsome would be to go on a fat loss diet. Your current diet is not a fat loss diet because you are not losing weight. You need to have a caloric deficit of about 500-600 kcal, or about 25%. You will then start to lose weight at about 1lbs a week. You can stick to your diet of sausages and sugar spikes if you like, but you will only see results when you cut calories. Because sausages are fatty, you don't get much bang for your buck (or should that be bangers for your buck ;) ) And you will probably start to feel real hungry unless you fill yourself up with some low net-carbs vegetables. That's why I would recommend a different diet, as its all about hunger management.
