The 'meaty stuff' referred to is old LC stuff I've pre-cooked, freezered & forgotten to label. It's mostly lamb, I think. I don't eat a great deal of it, 200 grams tops I'd say. So, as I'm LCing, well under my RDI, why is my weight still going up?
148.8 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 39.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Because... I went out last thing and had three tonic waters. That's all I can think. Dunno why my body would be so keen to hold on to water though. What's it doing with it? Body; we need a word...

excellent video @Giles although why these people insist on being half naked i'll never know!! but yes what he's saying is spot on especially for someone who is doing the Stonglifts program like @Billkruse

have you lost weight with LC before @Billkruse? it may just be it doesn't agree with you. what about trying low fat/high protein? with moderate carbs (around 150gs a day)

Yes I have lost weight before, I was on rather more carbs then though, which is a little odd. It seems I do better on LC than ULC. I had a look at the video with that rather odd bloke in it but didn't watch all of it at all as it didn't seem to apply to me, can't remember why.

i too found LC better than ULC, i find i maintain my weight nicely on around 80gs a day. as long as i keep it under 100gs i'm happy. it means i can include lots of veggies and some dark chocolate in there. i don't do carb nites though, there is no need for me to on 80gs carbs a day
