I don't get it!
I've been exercising every single day and my diet hasn't been too shabby, yet I'm stuck at this weight and nothing is budging.
I guess that I'll have to get more aggressive with my calorie count to get over this hump.
121.8 kg Lost so far: 12.7 kg.    Still to go: 60.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
steady weight

Hi Mitzi, I've been where you are now and know how motivating it is to see results on the scale, stay strong. From my experience, calorie tracking is important, but it might be helpful to reduce carbs intake as well? More green vegetables, less potatoes, rice, pasta, bread. And drink a lot of water. Fingers crossed!

Hi, not a pt or expert on fitness but have you been in a calorie deficit of 500 cals per day? (keeping protein high)

hi. just Google it - there is many calculators online to tell you how much you calories you should eat... this is from Google but search for a calculator... People also ask How do I calculate my calorie deficit? To perform a manual calculation, moderately active people can multiply their current body weight by 15 to estimate how many calories they would need each day. Then, to determine how many calories they should consume for a healthful calorie deficit, they can subtract roughly 500 calories from that number.23 Dec 2020 personally: I have calculated that I need to be on 1200kcal a day to lose about 10kg in about three months... and I have started walking and doing a bit of exercise here and there. everyone is different. basically my "normal" daily intake should be 1700 kcal but you minus 500kcal and that should make you lose up to 0.5kg a week. sorry this is a rough description - hope this helps though. good luck J

I just thought it was been advised to have just 500cals a day, which I think is such a small amount, I wouldn't of thought having that everyday would be enough to make it a healthy option, but who am I 🤷‍♀️

oh my goodness Heather no, please don't try to live on 500 calories a day 😂

My maintenance diet is between 2,200 to 2,400 calories per day, but I am very active and work out for at least half an hour each day; I also have raging ADHD and think I burn 500 calories a day just fidgeting and getting up to move around! I was almost eleven stone at the beginning of May, and wanted to lose half a stone to feel my best. Therefore, I started doing aerobics and cut my calorie intake down to 1,600 per day. It was really tough, as I am a foodie, but I managed to shift around a pound a week (sometimes I managed more). The human body needs at least 1,200 calories to maintain health and if you cut down too much, you can go into survival mode which actually results in weight gain. The main thing other than exercise, is a healthy diet. I fill up now on fruits and veggies, whereas before it was on carbs. Always ensure you are eating healthily, as not all calories are made equal. You honestly can do this as you are AMAZING! 😇

I'd say make a concerted effort to weigh out all of your food. Be honest with yourself when you're tracking your calories - It's likely that you're under-tracking/ under reporting. Try weighing out and tracking everything for one week and see if it makes a difference. Good luck.

@heatherboardman A calorie deficit would be whatever your maintenance calories are (for the average female adult this would be roughly 2,000) minus 500 calories. So you would be eating 1,500 calories a day.

I'd try drinking more water and watch milk intake. Just changing those 2 things may be the nudge your body needs. ✨️

you can burn about 12% of what u eat that day calories wise so try slowing the calories in take to increase Ur deficit
