Your calories might be abit high? Have you tried going abit lower, say to around 3000 - 3500kc? When I was 318 lbs I was dieting on 2000 calories a day. And as you're a guy, around 3200 calories should do the trick. And lowering it by about 200 calories for every stone you lose should keep the weight steadily heading downwards.

My calories were intentionally high yesterday as it was Carb Nite, I was trying to create an insulin spike in the absence of fat converting enzymes having been low-carbing it for a while. And the times I was too high before, that was just me pigging to much pork belly :-) So I've cut all my pork belly into squares now and I'll just do one at a time, that'll stop me gorging. Thanks for your comment :-)

Suppose you want to loose 100 grams of weight a day. That's 900 calories of body fat that you have to burn. If you are consuming 3781 kCal per day (on average), and 70% of those calories are fat, then you are consuming 2646.7 kCal of fat or about 294 grams of fat. So in total you would be trying to burn off 394 grams of fat per day. That's about 15 times as much fat as the recommended daily intake of an average person who wants to maintain their weight. Now, I know that for some people High-Fat Low-Carb diets can be good, but I would say you might be putting a heck of a strain on your liver.
