Bubbles McBubble's Journal, 01 May 23

Okay I'm now on a roll. I can see a reduction in tummy and I need to buy smaller clothes.

I'm sexier naked. ;)

Less baked bean, more...

My boobies are more defined and shapely...

The boyfriend's getting SA'd a bit more...

and I'm so happy lately. My mood is 100% higher than ever. ppl are commenting at work.

As to my guts? I don't have any more gut problems, except for the dodgy cream I ate last week. I forgot to eat yesterday but figured I should because I had pills to take, and chomped down a couple of frankfurters. Next time I feel like that I might just leave it and not take my 2nd galvumet, and see how I go. See how long it takes me to care whether I eat or not.

My stomach, I know I've said this already, feels like a little bag somewhere in my guts that I might or might not put food in. I don't need to put food in to get energy. The doors to all the cells are unlocked... fat comes out of the cells when I need it, goes into the cells when I don't. Traffic is flowing. I'm not eating, being forced to store it, and then being desperate for it because it's locked away so fast.

My body doesn't feel much of anything. I sit here, my butt doesn't hurt, my guts don't hurt, my hips don't hurt... When I walk I feel like I'm floating because I'm not pushing down on my feet so much.

Chub Rub is now a dainty chub swish.

I Feel Amazing. :D

Dainty swish? 🤣 Love it, Love that you feel good. Was going to ask you what you're doing for cardio, but your second line answered that.😉

Ssssh! :D I did just join up for a gym. My butt disappeared when I got diabeetus: all the fat from your legs, arms, everything slowly makes the pilgrimage to mecca - your gut. I looked like an alcoholic. You know: runty legs and arms, huge puku (Maori/New Zealand word for stomach). so I have to go start lifting n sh!t again, I want peachy delectable edible buttcheeks instead of these saggy baggy elephant buttcheeks. Something to fill out all the dodgy underwear I've been buying. :D

Puku = Pooch in the States for women, Beer Gut for men. Are you walking, too?

No way! Blow that for a joke. I live in Wellington, New Zealand. It's vertical. I love tramping in the bush, but generally walking to and from work involves a park with grass and I ruin my shoes. I'm perpetually late for work when I walk even though it's only 20mins each way, and it's downhill on teh way to work and only mega uphill on the way home. But tbh I like the gym, I like stepper machines, and walking machines, I like the stereo playing while I work out, but I don't like earphones in when I'm in the real world because I like to interact with the peeps and of course the good boys as I cut across the dog park. Plus now and again there's a mastiff or something and I am alerted to potential attack by hysterically screaming owners as the hound of the baskervilles streaks across the field to devour me, so being able to hear is a Good Thing. (Don't worry, dogs don't bite me. They can tell I'll bite them back.) Anyway it's winter 3/4 of the year here too. No, driving to a nice warm gym, and tramping on weekends, is my fave.

Very long explanation for "Walk? Oh, Hell No!" Ms. Bubbles! Why not wear commuter tennis shoes for tramping to work, then changing into your dainty shoes (conveniently stored under your desk or in your locker)? At least it's winter and cool, so your downhill trek won't leave you sweaty. I live in the canyons in Southern California, so I know vertical, too. Good for the tushy and calves.

This is true... when I used to bike to work I'd do my 34km to work, have shower, put on makeup and feel like I'd just had a fantastic swim all day. Right now, I'm building up to things. I know I'm supposed to walk to work but I don't want to adult that hard. driving is cool fun. Maybe in spring I'll start walking (it's autumn/beginning of winter here now.) Wellington has winds of over 100kmph, my hair ends up looking like the Fro from Hell. I look like something out of fraggle rock. When I had my hair in dreadlocks it was okay to walk to work. Now it is Not. :D But I love that you care, and that you make suggestions. And maybe next summer, when the wind isn't going 100kmph, driving rain, sleet and god knows what horizontally down my neck and up my butt, i will go with it. I love weather so much!

Hmmmm. Is that you in your profile pic, wearing a smart, hooded jacket protecting your locks from extreme volume & fluffiness? I know that whatever remedy I offer, you will stomp, but I do enjoy the reach, and have figured out that you do not deliver the mail for a living. In all seriousness, may I ask what is your "Why" for losing weight?

:) I'm not stomping, I'm just... not doing anything I'm told. I'm a brat. for a given definition of brat. :D And I don't want to walk to work. For that hour taken I can easily go lift weights and stare at all the hot guys at the gym. YANNO? I need to lose weight to control the diabetes. I stacked on the poids net in this job. Ongoing stress, depression, etc. Now my stars are for some reason all aligning: have a wonderful new line manager that just gave me a payrise, daughter has moved out and is happy, son is happy and has gorgeous girlfriend (wife to be???) Boyfriend and I broke up but got back together and have a stronger, amazing footing, that's just mind bogglingly perfect. Met some new friends, having the time of my life. Wow, your fifties sure are bloody fun!!! And the fat's just pouring off me. It's amazing. I told daughter I was worried I was having a manic episode I'm so hiiiiigh!!! She said (ever the pragmatist) don't worry mum, I know you when you're manic, and this isn't it. My darling baby.

@justbananas also that pic is from maybe 10 yrs ago. that's my goal. not my starting situation, which is a little more spherical. I think I was about 85kg in that pic. If I'm going to climb mountains again I need to get on that gosh darned stepper and do some hefty hard work. :)
