Very difficult to lose weight while drinking, since it lowers inhibitions to stay on diet plan in the moment. I've watched others here on FS try to lose while drinking often, and they are still obese after several years. Alcohol is more of a maintenance indulgence, IMO.

Yeah I agree my weight loss has plateaued recently and think frequent socialisation/drinking is to blame as my meals have still been ‘on plan’.

Sorry guys! My booze intake has stayed the same, whilst cutting down on high calorie foods I've lost 1 1/2 stone.
