You seem to be on a weight loss journey the same as me, well, except that you are obviously well in advance of me in achieving your target weight. I am just starting today but when I see what you have achieved it has given the spur and confidence to do the same. Well done, you are doing a brilliant job. Can I ask, how long has it taken you so far to achieve your fantastic weight loss?

I have yoyo'd all my life, but I need to take a reality check, in that when I do get to the weight I want that I want to be too make sure that I stay at that weight I think that because I'm now 68(admittedly,it's taken me a while) I've realised that I can't keep doing this to myself and my body is also telling me the same with all these little aches and pains that are now occurring. 👍🙂

Yes I’m 60 in 4 months retired when I was 57 didn’t diet until then I also feel I left it until too late

Again, similar. I retired at 59 and then took up cycling again to keep my weight down and also to help me mentally as I was finding retirement a bit boring after having worked continuously for over 45 years, a cycling really gives me the feel good feeling Unfortunately, I've have a few minor accidents in the last couple of years which has curtailed my cycling, so walking is what I'm now going to do untill the weather gets better and I can get back out cycling again. As the saying goes, baby steps to start with, lol.

it's never too l8, I'm 60 in a couple of months and I also never really had to diet until I got well into my 50s. it takes a long time to diet,if u lose it too fast u only put it back on and some! Good luck xx

@Addison. Thank you mate. You are correct though, it's not good to lose it too quick, although it makes you feel good to say the weight falling off, it usually just ends up all going back on again. I only started having weight problems from my 50's and that's probably why I'm struggling with it now. But I shall get there and I do find that the support in this shop is really great and helpful. So as they say, watch this space, lol 👍🙂

I lost 20kg in 6 months big mistake because it didn’t only take fat it took muscle as well

@razor. Yup agreed mate, as I said, whilst it looks good on the scales to lose weight quickly, it definitely does NOT work in the long term. As in my case it eventually just goes back on again. So going for the slower weight loss this time and that way I'm hoping to retrain my way of thinking about my food intake 🤞🤞
