Dropped close to another lb, which is surprising since I didn't exercise yesterday. I still did the dog walking, house cleaning & decorating, though. Got the meal plan done, gonna probably have lots of leftovers for lunches & stuff. Calories will be reasonable, with a fair amount of veggies. The cost of groceries have gone up considerably, which is affecting my meal planning. I used to look for tasty recipes & shop accordingly. Now I look in the freezer to see what I've already got & meal plan accordingly. A few weeks ago, hubby found a sale on pork steaks & bought a fair amount. Today he bought some roasts that were on sale. I know how to make pot roast, but I'm not sure what to do with pork steak. Something I'll need to look into next payday. Also, I find I'm buying more frozen veggies instead of fresh, partially to cut down on food waste. I hate throwing out veggies that went bad before I cooked them. So, what is anyone else out there doing to save money on groceries?
