Bought a gym membership! Ready to start toning and getting stronger. Hope this doesn’t slow my weight loss, but I know it’s needed.

Congrats on focusing on your overall health and not the scale. Replacing fat with muscle is a good thing.

Fantastic plan. Muscle weighs more than fat, but muscle burns fat faster. Like BabyGot said, it's more about our health vs the number on a scale. I'm trying to build muscle too 🥰

Cardio will torch calories, so make sure you try all the machines and classes to find something you love. Congratulations on the gym commitment!

You'd be replacing fat for muscle. Muscle weighs more, but at your current weight it shouldn't slow you down, unless you suddenly become arnold Schwarzennegger. An important tip is: do not overestimate the calories you burn by working out. Be careful not to eat those calories back after a workout. Keep the calorie deficit going. Good luck! You can do it!

Do yourself a big favor.. Take measurements and record them for comparison. I am maintaining weight and have lost 2 sizes. Body sculpting is a good thing for your motivation!
