Hi everyone. Hope you are all ok in this heat. can I get some advice please on how to eat more protein. I only seem to be having about 50 grams and should be aiming for 150?
I eat a lot of cheese, eggs, chicken and fish plus vegetables. an example of today was a tuna sandwich for lunch and sea bass with tomato and onion salad and a few chips for dinner. I don't often snack and only 2 meals a day. Red wine is my downfall and makes up the calories. Thanks in advance
75.3 kg Lost so far: 2.3 kg.    Still to go: 10.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I'd definitely keep off the wine, maybe just a glass at the weekend? u can get protein shakes, I've never tried them tho, I eat protein Yoghurt. hope it helps xx

I've added a keto coffee and a bone broth both of which are collagen based which help to top up my protein quota. I'm using planet paleo products. I also sometimes as pea protein powder of an omelette.

You could always try adding nuts and seeds to your diet? And maybe having a larger serving of the fish/eggs/other meat and cut down on the add ons??? E.g. One slice of toast (instead of two) and two (instead of one) eggs?

Not sure why you'd be aiming for 150g of protein? There was a good discussion about our protein needs on Anne's journal recently, prompted by an episode of the BBC food programme. Worth a look.

My protein is 111g a day. At the moment it eggs and beef jerky for me, still missing it but it’s a work in progress

Yes, 150g does seem a lot, I aim for 100+ n that's hard work sometimes trying to eat that much xx
