just got notification from FS - to reduce weight by half a pound, drop 500Cals from daily diet for a week. that wld mean 1100 daily. how in earth to get nutrition in me? or keep it off and be properly nourished???!!! after years of watching weight the reality of nourishment levels v slimmer has hit me. it seems 😕 a choice betwixt the two.

I wouldn't trust the calorie requirement calculator here 100%, I get results that vary by the 100s using the same inputs.
Put nutrition first, and maybe just try dropping 100 cals a day, see how that goes for a while? No point be slimmer if your not feeling healthy enough to actually enjoy it.🙂

Hey thanks, yes I have dropped it by 100c, I suppose we are all different and these we stats are based on averages. I feel well but am aware of nutritional intake reqs, as I was diagnosed with OP last year, even though I have followed what i consider a good diet. i didnt consume sufficient calcium, protein or fibre etc. Then I wonder if anyone actually does?

Given the products that line the majority of our supermarket shelves, I would guess not!
I'm uncertain what OP is in this context, but its good that you feel well🙂
