Weigh In record (no journal entry) for 18 April 2022
80.3 kg Lost so far: 11.8 kg.    Still to go: 12.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Happy with the loss, went overboard over Easter, ate out Friday with the large sandwhich, had indian Friday night i had a naan with shish kebab, tikka and tandori chicken.. regret that one! Massively! , a lamb shish kebab Saturdayand a some bloody chips which I didn't enjoy regret those chips too! and a roast yesterday, although I weigh everything in my roasts I drowned the pork in gravy. I woke up in the night and drunk a large lucozade sized bottle of water and I have new scales. Although not the loss I wanted which was my fault atleast it was still a loss. Fella is getting dominoes tonight *cry* as I know I can't avoid eating that but no more takeaways for the rest of the week! I went to wear a dress yesterday and it is wayyy to big for me, only wore it once lasy year! and now clothes that didn't fit me now do so I'm seeing the progress in that. So that side of things which is great. My goal was to be 11 stone so another 23lbs by the 1st june but sadly accepting I won't reach that so not to put myself under to much pressure. But if I can stick to my secondary goal of 2lbs a week then I will be happy

Gosh! I’m hungry just looking at your list! To be honest, chicken tikka is a good choice for indian food. When you eat out why not eat some and ask for a doggybag? Then you can eat it for two meals instead of one! Sort of double bonus !

Thank you julie, try and try we barely eat out, seems he doesn't want to take me out for a meal unless I book something so I can avoid restaurants. Its the takeaways I know I should have will power but its bloody hard, like if we have Chinese I will order myself singapore noodles and that's it. Bit he will order beef in Blackbeen sauce, chicken balls, ribs, rice and a chicken curry. I say to him you won't eat it all and he won't eat it the next day. I personally cannot bear food waste so I end up feeling like I have to eat it 😩 and because I havnt cooked it I don't feel its safe to freeze and reheat. I even tried eating dinner before I go out but again because of the waste thing I just end up eating takeaway anyway and then it's worse because I've had two meals so now I don't bother doing that. Amd he orderes it so late, we dint eat until after about 9.30pm in a friday amd saturday. I blame him for a lot of my bad eating habits lol just screws up all my hard work in the week and he doesn't understand why I get upset on a Monday. I guess having a Monday morning weigh in is not the smartest move on my part! Lol amd he wants to lose weight and he weighs 10stone 3.... 😮‍💨 my targets not even that low lol.

I hear you, Lea.......I hate waste too and everything gets eaten. And my OH just loves a takeaway and orders enough to feed an army. I think a Monday weigh-in is a good thing to help keep you on the straight and narrow at the weekend but I usually dodge it and go for a Friday or a Sunday.

Hey Anne, it's so frustrating, and I agree not to move the weight date as I'd probably eat more in fairness. I do weigh myself everyday to keep in check but only count a Mondays result. I know you shouldn't weigh everyday but atleast if I gain I can think tight what happened yesterday, Diid I eat to much or not have enough water, normally it is dehydration. And if I lose to much then I think ok I need to eat a bit more and slow down. (Slow and steady wins the race) lt just upsets me because I do so well then ruin it every weekend. But I'm not gaining so I need to stop being so harsh on myself. I did 16 lengths today breastroke / backstroke this morning in 20 minutes before I stopped keeping track. I was in the pool for a few hours so did more than that but was quite proud, I also went underwater for the fist time - I thought I done half a length, was actually about 2 meters or less hahaha and did front crawl too! I'm trying to teach myself to be a bit stronger each day

I weigh most days and know that I can put on a kilo overnight the lose it the next night so I only record once a week. Great progress on the swimming front. Keep working on the underwater stuff, great for confidence and once you have mastered keeping your face underwater your front crawl will improve.
