Adpully's Journal, 18 Feb 22

Day 17 was another good one a 500 calorie deficit and a nice little 0.3kg drop.
I wasn't really expecting to loose weight quite this quickly that's now 2.7kg in just 17 days.
If it goes to the normal pattern I will plateau for a few days now.

It was the sixth day in a row that I ran for an hour or more so I plan two days rest before I run again.
On the health front my seven day resting heart rate is continuing to drop it's just 40 BPM and has come down from 55BPM. This along with my vo2 max number of 46 shows that I now have a decent fitness level.

Today It's too windy to go out much and the new washing machine is due soon. I will need to unbox that and fit it -
Then I can start on my new speakers. That will make five pairs, It's a bit of a hobby for me.

Brilliant detail! How do you measure your vO2? (I last did that at Uni!) If my efforts of installing my last new washing machine are anything to go by, that will be a workout in itself! LOL 😅🤭

Just a quick question. when you say u have a deficit is that through the excersise you do plus any calories you save each day?

Yes Adders that is correct. calories deficit is simply a of input food minus exercise energy used.

Julie hi, My running watch measures vo2 max it isn't as accurate as a lab test but apparently reasonably close. My figure has gone from 36 to 46 in around three months decent exercise. Washing machine was a no show and my broadband has been down all day

Your running progress is amazing Adpully. It doesn't seem long ago you were doing Couch to 5K. But more importantly, what a stunning cat 🐈
