cindylynnwho's Journal, 03 Feb 22

Good morning FSF! Glad to be awake instead of my recent habit of oversleeping after working late. I gotta get back into some good rhythms. Speaking of which, I’m celebrating fiber today. I know low carb works for many, but for me lately I’ve been eating carbs which comes with increased fiber which leads to weight loss. Yay for healthy complex carbs and fiber! I ran 4.28 miles yesterday. I’m just trying to keep my pace under 12’00” min/mile, and came in yesterday at 11’41.” I know it’s not as fast as others or as fast as my younger days, but I’ve been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue, so I try not to push myself too hard (hard ok, but not *too* hard). Someday I’ll be a bit faster. My dad, who used to run with me but can no longer run, suggested that a good goal for me would be to someday run a sub-30’00” 5k (just under 10’00” min/mile). That would be cool, though numbers are just numbers, and I need to be proud of what I can do already. I read a book I bought at the thrift store called run less, run faster and it talked about practicing intervals on a track. I don’t have a track close enough that I’m willing to drive to, but I’ve got my eye on a neighborhood spot that might be close enough. Anyway, have a great day y’all.

Thank you annamommy ❤️ Do you run too?

Beautiful Ms. Cindylynnwho, no, I do not run if I don’t have to. I find it incredibly uncomfortable on “the girls” and my knees 🤣😅 You inspire me, though, to get back into a groove with getting out and moving. I was doing amazing before my accident in early Dec. and I’ve been slacking/lacking motivation/desire/energy to get back to it. ♥️♥️♥️

Lol annamommy yes it can be hard on the girls and the knees. I find the key to both is good equipment - the right shoes and bras. But no need to run if it’s not your thing. When I first lost 90lbs on FS my main exercise was walking. I’m glad I could get you thinking about moving again! You got this! 💕
