northernmusician's Journal, 30 May 14

I considered starting my cut today, but I have lifting scheduled for today and Saturday so I'll stay the course for those two days. 1800 is my goal on Sunday to shock it all and prove something to myself.

My biggest problem is I've given out what I believe to be some really sound advice over the last few months. I need to sort it out and synthesize it so I can walk the talk... again.

I'll be doing some planning... getting some standard meals sorted out so I can get close to hitting protein and fat macros each day and carb macros on lift days. Outside of those targets, off days will be more fats and less carbs. I'll post my calculations so anyone can see it that want's to sometime this afternoon. I'm going very anal on it but I'm sorting it out so I have some flexible dieting around the edges.

"You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win." ~ Zig Ziglar

"If the people knew how hard I had to work to gain my mastery, it wouldn't seem wonderful at all." ~ Michelangelo (Love this one.)

"Most people have the will to win, few have the will to prepare to win." ~ Bobby Knight

"Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you're ready or not, to put this plan into action." ~ Napolean Hill

You give excellent advice and I thank you for that. I’m ready for Phase II of my journey partly because of you. I'm identifying with the Napoleon Hill quote today. Ready or not here comes June. The plan has to be put into action. The results will follow. Get to walking and talking bud. :)
