I built up some unused pto and remembered that if I don’t use it, it won’t all rollover into next year. So I have two staycations planned - today through next week, and Christmas through the week after. Vacation is supposed to be relaxing, but I felt pressured to do more than four weeks of work in three weeks, and although I tried to avoid it, I ended up working very late last night and didn’t take my medicine on time then felt very yucky and over consumed food and beer. I’ve got to get back on track today and get that “holiday buffer” one of you inspired me to think about because my sisters-in-law are coming next week and they have a tendency to bring all kinds of food into the home and then pressure us to eat their leftovers. Oh well. As long as I have this app with your support I’ll always be okay. Now to plan a fun staycation :)

Thanks Matt! Happy thanksgiving to you too. I do plan to get some extra exercise/adventure time in. What beach do you ride along? I’m in Florida. My bike is not made for beach riding so I don’t know how well it would do. I do like to ride my bike to the beach and then walk there.

Three lines for “food pushers” 🔹I’m a bit full right now, maybe later (delay) 🔹oh wow that looks so amazing have you shared that with the other here. Now tell me how did you make that? Pick up one bite like you are going to eat it but then push it down and stare intently as they talk. Then say oh pardon me I need to us the ladies room. Walk off and set the plate in some random place that you can dispose of later or hand it off to someone else. (Distraction) 🔹That’s so generous of you. That just won’t work for me now. (Direct boundary setting) Hope you have the best Thanksgiving. We’ll all be picking up the pieces to get back on track next week with sleep, stress control and eating.✨

Hi Cindy, Haven't been riding to any beach lately. I didn't make it riding to the Galveston beach, TX last few weeks due to a tight schedule. Would luv to ride along south of Carmel and Monterey & Big Sur coast, California - this is where they filmed Netflix 'Ratched' @ Lucia Lodge - bucket list ! When I was in Miami - fascinated with people at Miami beach & Key Biscayne smooth lazy weekend rides. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Yoga goddess, that reminds me of a rude comment I had. Many years ago, when I was in my early 30's, I lost a lot of excess weight and was feeling really good. Then I had my next door neighbour say to me: "Stop losing any more weight on your face because you look really old now."

@deelbee that’s terrible, People are so rude. No one has ever told me I look older due to weight loss (instead hiding under the guise of concern about a nonexistent eating disorder) but that is what I think they may be hinting at with me and what I fear may be true for me. 120-125 looked hot on me in my twenties but in my thirties and fifties, apparently not as much?

I’m well over 55 and there is a slight chuckle inside me. ‘ell yes I’m old and that is winning. By this point in my life I’ve a long list of people that no long are above ground. I am above ground and I am proud of every last wrinkle 😉 know all the fun I had getting them. If people comment that I’m old, I tell them I’m planning to get to 100 and smile. Only in our culture is age a shunned thing. While on my medical mission in Africa I was labeled Ghost Mother - it was said with respect as most of their people die in their 30’s and 40’s. Should we be thankful for age?
