Doubling down for the last five days with an average deficit of 800 calories seems to have done the trick and some weight has been lost. If I manage the same today at least I will have a some calories in the bank to offset the weekend feasting coming up. In fact the upcoming feast really was the main reason for this particular deficit increase.

Yesterdays Heart Rate Running went really well and the chest monitor is so far proving to be very consistent and obviously more accurate than the watch HR monitor albeit a faff to use - I ran twice and clocked up over eight miles. My pace is improving nicely and because I am running at a low HR I don't feel totally knackered at the end.


If the weather improves I hope to do another run today but currently it's not looking inviting out there.

Yesterdays home grown food was butternut squash soup and another large bowl of rasberries.

Hello Adpully, your doing well. I bet you you get your last 4.4 lbs off quicker than me. It's the first of October today, Ready, steady go. I am 4.4 lbs over too that's why I have suggested that. Good luck Merry Mel 💗
