Day 88 It's the end of month weigh-in and metrics review. So delayed until 8:45 AM to make the best number.
It was no surprise that I didn't quite make my target of a 4kg loss for August.

For those of you like me who like numbers

*June lost total 6.5kg (deficit 33K calories)
July lost total 6kg (deficit 35.5K)
Aug lost total 3.7kg (deficit 27.5K)

*didn't start my diet until 5th June

CICO method of diet and I'm logging everything via the FS tools

I charted the impact of a 7700 calorie deficit for me for each of six 15 day blocks it's all pretty linear.
June each 7700 deficit = 2kg loss.
July each 7700 deficit = 1.5kg loss.
Aug each 7700 deficit = 1kg loss - So currently it's twice as hard for me to lose weight.

In this time my BMI has gone from 30.4 - 25.2 and my glycated haemoglobin number has dropped from 46 - 41 and so I'm now out of the pre-diabetes range.

Today's plan is to relax and hopefully get out in the garden and ramp my deficit down to about 500 calories today and then 350 calories tomorrow. Hopefully my new lawnmower battery will arrive so I can cut the grass.

Have a great day

And hopefully it will be dry! The one bad thing about battery lawnmowers - you can’t cut in the wet.
