Day 76 Accidentally I ended up with a 400 calorie larger deficit yesterday but rather than fill the gap with treacle tart I decided that I was going to carry it forward to today and use it for extra meat on a big fry up breakfast.

My new 8kg Kettle bell turned up however I was disappointed, I hadn't realised how much bigger a vinyl one was than a cast iron one and it's not so nice at all for swinging between your legs as you have to have a very wide stance - Also It was in very poor condition all scuffed certainly not in new condition. Please learn from my error and compare the 12 Kg cast iron KB on the right with the 8Kg Vinyl one in the middle if you are considering I would definitely advise cast iron. I have found that Argos have decently priced cast iron ones so I'm waiting for a chance to go there.

Despite my best efforts I managed my 5.3 mile walk jog in 1H 3M 38S to shave just 17 seconds of my best time. A sub one hour time now looks a distant dream.

Today will complete my first week of using kettle bells. I'm resisting the urge to check my body fat until the end of month metrics check day on Sept 1st.

Adpully if you go to Argos for your cast iron kettlebells ask to see them before you take them home & run your hands comprehensively under the handle & around anywhere you will be grasping them. Ours were so jagged they had to be returned!! 🥺 we are now waiting for replacements from Amazon. Good luck!
