21st July - Yesterday was busy one. An eight and a half mile walk in the morning and a six mile one in the evening
In between I was moving lots of pallets in a continuing garden tidy up where I am moving logs/rocks pallets to a new area in the garden. As a result some record stats for the day for me. Steps = 35950

My evening walk along local footpaths the six miles took me three hours: I got lost twice, chatted to two farmers, one not friendly and then bumped into a beekeeper suited up in his driveway.

Next thing I know I am being given an half hour tour of his apiary of about 20 hives and a shedload of beginners advice. Mrs Adpully and myself had started a beekeeping course a year or so ago that had got stopped because of CV lockdown. This impromptu tour has got me all buzzed up to get something up and running next year.

This very slow walk and arriving home very late meant that I missed out on a planned supper and glass of wine. Less food and much more exercise combined to give me an exceptional 1900 calorie deficit for the day.

Apparently there is more hot weather set for today before cooling days and some much needed rain on Friday.
After a breakfast fry up I am planning a relaxed day pottering around and perhaps one short walk.

wow,,,that is indeed a record number of steps,,well done 👏 I'm a big bee🐝liever in 'God puts people in your path for a reason', so how amazing to think of you getting lost only to bang into a bee keeper at the perfect time!! I'm buzzing for you,,it's sparked your interest again,,I just love to see big, fat, hairy, bumble bees making flowers bend under their weight!!
