Half way through July report - I have stayed on program 100%. One day even managing a 500 calories daily deficit after a 2000 calorie meal. My daily average for July food is 1672 cals and exercise 2788 cals giving an average daily deficit of 1116 calories. Not quite the 1200 I had originally hoped for but something I have been managing without excessive hunger pangs. I hope to continue this for the other half of July. Also continuing to try with increased fibre intake by using organic ground linseed on my breakfast each day. The bulk of my exercise currently comes from walking about 15K to 25K steps a day often under 16 mins per mile hilly conditions. I have backed off jogging for the time being.

Knowing that my fitness band gives optimistic readings for my walking I have been inputting custom exercises, using an online walking calorie counter to estimate the more pessimistic reading then picking a calories used number half way between the online measurement and my fitness band - This method usually shaves about 120 calories off a band reading for a five mile walk. I would rather live on the pessimistic side.

Yesterdays walk was a fun loaded 6 1/2 miles 2h4min one from a lakeside cafe to home even though we have lived here 3 years I have never managed this before, the rough path follows round the lake it's very muddy and overgrown but gives a new perspective of the reservoir which we can see well from our house.

Have a great day and good luck with your weight plans.
