Day 26 - In addition to my first thing out of bed routine of feeding Riley the cat, throwing away the dead mice from the kitchen floor (2 this morning), putting the kettle on for a cuppa and taking my amlodipine medication I unfortunately have now also been carrying my clothes downstairs and weighing myself. It really makes sense to weigh in first thing simply because after nine hours without eating or drinking a person would appear to be a the most consistent and low weight. Obviously it feels good if you step on the scales and record a loss but doing this each day is a bit sad -I hope to break this pattern soon.

Yesterday I rested and just pottered around the garden and spent an hour weeding and an hour putting up netting, planting runner bean seedlings etc. As a result my calorie deficit was just 900 calories so I wasn't expecting to lose any weight and so delighted to drop 0.3 kg and pass another mini milestone and join the 13 stone something club from being in the 14 stone club. Also I managed 28.3g of fibre for the first time. Less meat more beans for the win!

This morning my muscles feel just a bit sore so I'm not going to try a jog more pottering and target 20000 steps.
88.7 kg Lost so far: 16.3 kg.    Still to go: 18.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
