Good. So this week I’ve learned I can spend 10 days eating my mum’s trifles and apple pies and home cooked dinners and quite a lot of wine and a carvery…and not put weight on as long as I listen to my body and stay active. In fact I felt like the rest from months of calorie deficit was a good thing - I've felt stronger and fitter this last week.

I also learnt how people who haven’t seen me for a year react to my weight loss:

My mum: amazed and thrilled for my health and compliments on my new clothes.🥰

My mum-in-law: mentioned it once then told me how she’d lost a stone MANY times 🤪🤣

My cousin: couldn’t believe her eyes, asked how I did it and for healthy eating tips 👍😁

Had such a lovely trip and wouldn’t have minded a small gain but this is really positive and encouraging.
74.8 kg Lost so far: 27.2 kg.    Still to go: 0.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

It’s just so rewarding to feel good about yourself looking in the mirror. Priceless . No one should sabotage their own weight loss journeys because hitting that blue line gives you so much. You are and did well and people have to get used to your new you now 😜
